“I see…”
Was all she would say to him being unwell. Legolas had a hard time with it. He wouldn’t eat like he should and he wouldn’t drink hardly either. Tauriel was the only one that had gotten him to do so! His eyes closed for a moment, feeling his head swim some and his fingers tingle. Elves were a bit sensitive to alcohol and Legolas was most likely getting drunk already from this wine.
Tauriel shook her head. She didn’t believe that they were a good pair at sparring and fighting orcs? “Thand, but more than that. More than just fighting.” What was she trying to say? Legolas had a small shimmer of hope that coursed through him, but somewhere in that were his father’s words. ”She does not even realize your affection for her. Stop acting like an elfling. “
“We’ve never needed words to explain how perfect of a pair we make, Sure we can mirror each other when fighting...but there is more than that. What about the way we like everything the same, that we...do everything...well...did till recently. Together, you and me. Never having to explain who we are...”
Tauriel, saes. We are just friends that just have the same interests. Legolas was trying so hard to fight the grief. He was trying to keep all hope gone and just be the prince his father desired. He was trying, but in the inside he was wanting to scream and cry as much as he could.
Now here she was, reaching over him, trying to take the wine, with her dress falling off her shoulder again. It brushed up against him, causing him to close his eyes to keep from doing something stupid. “You speak too many riddles” It is not hard to figure out such riddles, Tauriel. She handed back the wine and Legolas started to drink some more, feeling lighter than before.
Hearing her giggle as she laid back on the bed caused a smile to escape his lips. He came close, lying down on the other side. Yes, just like when they were elflings. Why are you giggling? He asked as he gently poked her, trying to figure it out.
