.The Facade.
Character Name: Talion
Name Meaning: Talion's name means "Eye for an Eye".
Age: 75
Date of Birth: 2935
Race: Nazgul - Talion is technically a Nazgul through the wearing of one of the Nine Rings of Power. However he hasn't given into the will of the ring just yet and maintains free will, so he's not a true Nazgul.
Residence: Minas Morgul
Profession: Lord of Minas Morgul, The Bright Lord
Appearance: Talion at a glance stands the epitome of a Ranger of Gondor standing at a full six feet six inches tall and powerfully built after a life of intense physical training and battle. But this is where the similarities end. The first difference is in the eyes that forever burn a deep orange glow, deep black veins of corruption stretched out like roots. These continue on his arms, legs, and chest as well. Many decades of corruption through the wearing of his Nazgul Ring of Power have left his former tan skin pale nearly the color of alabaster. Deep black hair falls down to his shoulders unkempt and it has deepened to an unnatural shade of black.
Gear - As for armor Talion wears a rather unique set of dark steel armor handcrafted in the forges of Minas Morgul, a set of wicked black plate armor outfitted with a dark cloak.
Personality: Talion was a good natured, intelligent wise, and very humble man with his own personal code of honor on the field of battle. He was well respected by the soldiers who served under the former Captain of the Black Gate and he had a gift for speechcraft when it came to speaking to his men. After the deaths of his entire family and his revival at the hands of Celebrimbor his personality shifted. Talion became more reclusive around others as he was stricken with grief over the loss of his family that he never quite recovered from. As a wraith Talion became obsessed with vengeance proving to be incredibly aggressive. Obstacles to his vengeance were dealt with quickly and decisively as Talion became more and more aggressive.
Despite this he remained true to himself through it all even at the height of his power as the Bright Lord after managing to break the Dark Lord Sauron's hold over the Nazgul Isildur. Instead of allowing Celebrimbor to dominate him he chose to put the Nazgul to rest. One quality about Talion that anyone whose ever met or gotten to know him is that he's incredibly selfless. Talion willingly wore the ring of power knowing it doomed him to eventual servitude as a Nazgul of Sauron to keep himself alive, so he could hold back the forces of Mordor and keep Middle Earth safe as long as he could from the forces of evil.
As the decades go by Talion has given more and more ground to the corrupting influence of the ring of power. He still maintains free will but every year it gets harder to resist.
.The Blood.

Sibling(s): N/A
Spouse: Ioreth - Deceased
Children: Dirhael - Deceased
History: The Gravewalker, The Bright Lord, The Ranger. Talion was born a descendant of the northmen and raised as a lowborn in the city of Minas Tirith. It was here in his youth that he fell in love with a noble lady by the name of Ioreth. The pair seemed like the perfect match and before long they were married despite his lowborn status. The lives of the lovely couple changed forever when a noble man who was assaulting Ioreth was killed by Talion. In the aftermath he was branded a criminal but before he could be tried and executed his wife's father a noble Lord intervened. Due to the fact that his daughter Ioreth was pregnant with Talion's child, he used his influence to get Talion into the Rangers of Gondor where the man was then sent to the Black Gate with his wife.
Talion excelled in his skills as a ranger and rose quickly through the ranks becoming the Captain of the Black Gate. Life at the Black Gate had been mostly uneventful since Sauron hadn't been active in three millenia he spent most of his time with his wife, raising and eventually sparring and training his son Dirhael.
Life changed forever when finally Sauron and his Black Captains: The Black Hand, the Hammer, and the Tower returned with a force of orcs attacking the Black Gate. Talion valiantly led the defense but they were caught completely off guard and massively outnumbered. The Rangers were killed and Talion was forced to watch as the Black Hand slit the throats of his wife and son. Just as Talion thinks he's going to join them after his own throat is cut he is joined by a wraith known as Celebrimbor and resurrected. Celebrimbor offered Talion a chance at vengeance against those who killed his family and the Ranger readily took it. Together the pair slaughtered their way through the Warchiefs of Mordor drawing out and killing the Hammer, the Tower, the Black Hand and even fighting the returned form of Sauron to a standstill.
Now his vengeance secure Talion and Celebrimbor decided instead of letting go to remain and continue their work against Sauron. After forging of a new ring of power with the help of Celebrimbor, the pair waged a bloody war of conquest for Mordor against Sauron and his lieutenants. Although they couldn't prevent the loss of Minas Ithil they managed to use their own dominated legion of orcs to conquer all of the lands of Mordor and their fortresses. They faced the Nine Nazgul on numerous occasions defeating Suladan, Helm Hammerhand, and fighting Isildur. The pair with the aid of the nature spirit Carnan even managed to defeat the Balrog of Morgoth known as Tar Goroth. All the while Talion explored the memories of the past and visions of the future shown to him by Shelob the Child of Ungoliant.
They finally marched on Barad-Dur with a great army of orcs, uruk-hai, and olog-hai and Eltariel, the Blade of Galadriel at their side. Their battle went well as they pushed forward until finally Isildur came down for one final showdown. Talion managed to defeat the Nazgul and dominate him breaking the hold of Sauron over him, Isildur's ring of power sliding off his finger. However Talion finally saw the truth of what Celebrimbor was trying to achieve in his quest of total domination over Sauron and his domain. Talion instead killed Isildur destroying the Nazgul and putting his spirit to rest finally. This outraged Celebrimbor who so close to his final goals argued with Talion trying to convince him to see things his way.
Talion refused to side with Celebrimbor and his mad quest for power and seeing the line in the sand Celebrimbor decided with the agreement of Eltariel to take her as his new vessel and together they would fulfill his goals of domination over Sauron. As Talion began to die without Celebrimbor's presence he was met with the fair form of Shelob once more. Shelob helped a hopeless Talion to see that whether a Bright Lord or a Dark Lord ruled over Mordor it made no difference. Either it would be Sauron or Celebrimbor waging war against Middle Earth. Regardless a balance would need to be maintained in the aftermath of the fight. Minas Morgul was his only chance at enforcing that balance as the place where he could hold the forces of Mordor back. Shelob then asked Talion how much he'd be willing to sacrifice to which he finally understood what she meant.
So Talion put on Isildur's fallen Ring of Power.
Once more he became deathless through the power of the ring and also he claimed Isildur's sorcerous abilities over necromancy. As the newest Nazgul he retained his free will and control over the ring. Talion alongside enslaved spirits of the fallen defenders of Minas Ithil and raised orcs managed to conquer the city and fortress of Minas Morgul. Talion himself fought against the Witch King and the Nazgul where he defeated the Black Captain in single combat, banishing him and the Nine back to Barad-Dur to reform and claiming the title of Lord of Minas Morgul.
In the aftermath Talion watched Celebrimbor and Eltariel fight Sauron through the Palantir of Minas Morgul. The fight was hard but finally Celebrimbor managed to force Sauron down to his knees, his power appearing greater. The pair went to dominate Sauron but before the Dark Lord could fall under the wraiths sway Sauron cut the rings from Eltariel's fingers with a blade. Sauron merged himself and Celebrimbor together losing his physical form and locking them in a nigh endless fight.
In the aftermath of this battle Talion said his own private farewells to his one time friend in Celebrimbor and set out on his quest. Talion over the decades waged a brutal shadow war against Sauron for Mordor and its lands. Talion's ultimate goal to keep Mordor held back and to protect Middle Earth as long as he could from Sauron so long as the Dark Lords vast armies were tied up in a war against themselves. A civil war between Sauron's loyalists and those who followed the Gravewalker.
In the year 3010 Talion continues to do that from his home in Minas Morgul. Although with every passing year Sauron scores a small victory breaking down the wall Talion put up to resist him brick by brick. Talion knows its inevitable that he falls to the rings sway and becomes a true member of the Nazgul, but he will hold out until then and he holds out hope that the time he buys Middle Earth will give them the chance to figure out a way to destroy Sauron and free him from darkness, so he can join his wife and son in the afterlife.
