Rabbits with personality. Alodia grinned wider at the start, listening to Swithin even as she turned and began to look into the pen behind her. “Well, Raspberry isn’t shy,” she remarked once more. Indeed, the white rabbit was already bounding up to the pen’s edge, long ears twitching in interest as she sniffed the air toward the newcomer. “She likes being held, and brushed. Buuuuut,” she drawled the word as she pointed to a large male rabbit. He was sitting atop an overturned crate that had been carved into a den, nose twitching, and long ears poised upward. “That’s Pommy. He likes to sit on high things. Pretty sure he’s taken to calling himself the king of the rabbits here,” she remarked with a laugh.
The laugh, though, was short lived as she realized how ridiculous she sounded. Quickly, Alodia cleared her throat and continued. “Pommy doesn’t like being brushed, but if you give him enough treats, he will not be a stranger.”
She looked back down to the rabbits, finding the one that had squished itself into the back corner. “Strawberry is from Raspberry’s litter too,” she hummed. “She’s very shy. She likes food, and likes to hide it sometimes. Found one of her stashes recently.”
Thoughtfully, the young woman tilted her head. “Actually, they all have a personality!” She remarked in an almost revelation. She turned back to Swithin and grinned. “Pommy’s brother, Blackie, loves being brushed. He actually follows the comb around if you carry it!” She turned and picked up the comb from her wagon, and immediately one of the rabbits began to bound over.
With a turn and a laugh, she handed the comb to Swithin. "Here, you try."
