Tall ships and tall kings
Three times three,
What brought they from the foundered land
Over the flowing sea?
Seven stars and seven stones
And one white tree.

Black clouds loom over the Mountains of Shadow to the East. Though war hangs on the distant horizon yet set apart from those in Minas Tirith, it has already begun for those who have pledged service to Steward and Country. Gondor is the most powerful enemy to those in the Black Land, yet also where "the hammer stroke will fall hardest," and none will be left unscathed in some form by the war to come.
Seeking for Minas Tirith all types of characters for the War to Come!

Canon Characters:
Boromir, Captain of the White Tower ~ "There was a tall man with a fair and noble face, dark-haired and grey-eyed, proud and stern of glance. His garments were rich, and his cloak was lined with fur and he had a collar of silver in which a single white stone was set; his locks were shorn about his shoulders. On a baldric he wore a great horn tipped with silver that now was laid upon his knees."
The firstborn son of Denethor. A proud man of strong of body and hot of mood. Like his father in face and pride, but little else. He is no scholar, save for in stories of the old battles. Willing to place himself in doubt and danger for his people and to protect his younger brother and appease his Father. Per canon, he will die in the journey with the fellowship

Faramir, Captain of the Rangers of Ithilien ~"[Faramir] is bold, more bold than many deem; for in these days men are slow to believe that a captain can be wise and learned in the scrolls of lore and song, as he is, and yet a man of hardihood and swift judgement in the field. But such is Faramir. Less reckless and eager than Boromir, but not less resolute."
The second son of Denethor. Unlike his brother did not care much for war or arms. Confident and assured with a depth of nobility that ultimately saves him from falling in the same way of his brother. Per canon, he will become the last ruling Steward, and the first Prince of Ithilien after the return of the King.

Canon Characters with a lot of space open for original development:
Damrod, Ranger of Ithilien ~ A ranger beneath the orders of Captain Faramir who serves in Ithilien. Had little hope; he believed "the days of Gondor are numbered, and the walls of Minas Tirith are doomed."
Beregond, Tower Guard ~Dutiful in service to the Steward, though he thinks with his own mind, as he eventually breaks the laws of the Citadel Guard and leaves his post in order to save Faramir. Has a son, Bergil, who would be very young at this point.
Unnamed Man, Warden of the Houses of Healing ~ Chief healer in Minas Tirith. Somewhat proud of his ability and tends to get into long discussions of herbs and herb lore. Somewhat ignorant in herblore of the elder days (he did not realize the healing capabilities of athelas).
