As is typical of those in Imrahil’s line, he has an Elven look about him. He is tall with dark hair and with light eyes. While he is 55, he does not look it, looking more like he is in his 30s. While his face is often on the somber side, he is known for his relatively easy dimpled smile when the situation allows. As a warrior and sometime sailor, Imrahil is well-muscled but it is mostly lean and not bulky. He tends towards wearing blues and greens.

A man of integrity and a strong moral code, Imrahil is a fair man, if a bit on the strict side, who loves his family, especially his daughter Lothiriel and his wife. He is serious and studious, as well as keen observer of humanity. He is unfailing polite, even to those he dislikes. His politeness can make him come off as a touch cold but that is not the case at all. Among those he is close to, he is a warm, affectionate person with a slightly dry sense of humor.
He is skilled at battle, best with a sword and shield, and being born on the Bay of Belfalas, he has considerable skill at sailing, though he always found that he is best at navigating. It is rare for him to get truly lost and usually he knows which direction is what.

Born in TA 2955 in the midst of summer to Adrahil II and Bameldis, Imrahil was the couples third final child and their only son. He had two older sisters: Ivriniel and Finduilas. For a time, his child was very idyllic with his father having few responsibilities, since his grandfather Angelimir was still alive. Then when was thirteen, tragedy struck when an illness hit many of Dol Amroth and after weeks of fighting, his mother passed away. His father went into a deep depression for several years but soon had to snap out of it when his father died in TA 2977, becoming the 21st Prince of Dol Amroth. Finduilas married Denethor II a year before, and it was not long before Adrahil turned his mind to his son’s marriage.
In a rare move though, he allowed his son to chose his own wife, as long as she was Numenoean blood and was of noble blood. It was six years after his sister’s marriage that he met and married his own wife, a fiery, passionate woman from Linhir (a port city of Belfalas). Theirs was a marriage based on love and respect, very different from most Gondorian noble marriages. She would bear him a total of four children: Elphir, Erchirion, Amrothos, and Lothiriel. And as his father’s health wanes and darkness grows, he knows that he’ll be relying on her liveliness to keep him going.
