Appearance: Long black hair with storm cloud grey eyes, that have flecks of deep silver in them. Fair skin. They say she is the fairest of all of her kin but Arwen does not believe such. She believes there are others fairer than herself. Elegant and graceful, Just a little shorter than her brothers Elladan and Elrohir. She stands with grace and like a lady should, and has the beauty of Luthien. She is slender with fair skin and delicate features.



Personality: She is humble, gracious and down to earth. Arwen is soft and inviting like a good book. She has a cheerful disposition. Devout in her beliefs and loyal beyond words. She thinks the world of her brothers and defends them in all things, even if they are wrong in public, though in private she does chastise them. Arwen has a small rebellious streak against her father, concerning the Ranger Aragorn.

History:



Arwen was born in to the Lady Celebrian and Lord Elrond. The granddaughter of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn of Lothlorien. She was born in the valley of Imladris. She is the younger sister of Elladan and Elrohir. When she was younger she had to learn how to avoid her brother's mischief, though she has been known to be drawn into Elladan and Elrohir’s shenanigans. Even then she tries to be the voice of reason. She has been taught how to defend herself, the history of her people and to ride a horse. Two out of the three by her older brothers.



She was deeply affected by her mother's attack by orcs, even more so seeing the condition that Celebrian was returned to Imladris in. When her mother left in T.A. 2510 for the undying lands Arwen became the Lady of Imladris. It was then that her mother passed the elfstone to her. Made by the hands of Celebrimbor for her grandmother, many years before her birth. One of the last heirlooms of Celebrimbor’s hands. A few months after her mother sailed, she journeyed with her brothers to Lothlorien to be with her grandparents. Choosing to remain with them for several years before returning to Imladris. It was here, that she first laid eyes upon Aragorn at the time he was 20. Standing with her tall princely brothers in a courtyard.



Arwen would continue to split her time between Imladris and Lothlorien. When she grew tired of the duties laid before her as Lady of Imladris. She would ask her brothers to escort her to Lorien if they could spare the time, and at times asking Aragorn himself to accompany her. Arwen was in Lothlorien when the company of Thirteen dwarves, Mithrandir and Bilbo stayed in Imladris. She had left just days before the company of dwarves arrival.



It would be in Lothlorien that Arwen plighted her heart to Aragorn to be ever true. That she would give up the immortal life of her people. Sunder herself from her father, mother, grandmother and her grandfather forever. For her brothers had yet to decide upon their own choice.



When she is in Imladris, Arwen spends as much time as she can with Aragorn when his travels bring him there...or her brothers drag him out of the wild.
