.The Facade.

Age: Timeless
Date of Birth: Beginning of First Age
Race: Ent
Residence: The forests of Nurn
Profession: Corrupting those who enter his marshes/forests.
Appearance: Made from the flesh of animals and of human bodies, Fritjof is not one to desire. Pieces of fur clutch to him from elks and other animals while antlers are on top of his head, held by the “face” of Fritjof. His face is made from two dead men and at the bottom where his jaw should be are two arms dangling. Instead of feet, he has hooves like the deer folk that once lived there. The eyes are what are hard to look at, for they are yellow like those demon orcs with a terrifying piercing stare.
Personality: Fritjof is merciless unless you accept to worship him and be part of his home. If you accept him as your Lord, the creature will then protect you, showing compassion and protectiveness that you would never believe it would have. He is loyal to his home and the creatures there. Though if you do not accept, do not agree to be kind to the animals and things that live on his land, he will show you his wrath.

History: Long ago when everything was still new, a creature of such horror and terror was to soon be made. An ent, young and prideful, was created in the very lands of Nurn, taking care of all the creatures who lived there. He loved the marshes and the forest and he took very good care of them. Some would say that the very things that lived there worshiped him. He was very much loved and he too, loved them back. Fritjof was his name and the name did not fit the Ent. The poor creature knew not of how he got the name, but he wore it with pride.
As the years went by and the race of Man decided to expand, taking all the lands and killing animals for their intake, Fritjof started to change. An ent held no power over the Men, but Men hold power over themselves. With war raging and Men dying and animals dying on Fritjof’s lands, he knew now why he was named such and what he must do. The Men and the Darkness of the lands began to corrupt him, making him change form. Instead of being made from wood, he was now being made from the very same animals that he cared for. His face, now instead of showing happiness and care, shown nothing but horror as it became the bodies of two dead men with a pair of antlers from his most trusted elk friend. Instead of roots as feet, he used hooves and fur clung to him like it was stuck there with blood. Voices of the men screamed and groaned in terror and in his mind as the ent used them and molded them into one.
Something died that day, and in that day, the ent wasn’t so much of an ent anymore. He became something of evil, having his eyes glow yellow like the demons that scared the Men away. He would kill all those who crossed his path. BUT! They were given a choice. Most would agree to the terms because, who would be that foolish? Who would NOT want to live? The terms the corrupted ent set were plain and clear: Either stay in his lands and worship him as their Lord and be protected, or die in a burning fire and rage by him and him alone.
Throughout the years, Fritjof has made a “collection” of sorts. People of all races have gathered in a place of “peace” to only serve and be loyal to their Lord Ent. No one ever dared questioned him, and they would perform rituals of such to keep the Ent happy. Even the animals made sacrifices to it, for they were terrified that he would turn their back on them as well.
Fritjof has continued to stay in Nurn where his people and animals worship him. Though, if needed, he knew that he would travel a ways for a certain Dark Lord who whispers in his mind like the men who are now forged as his face.
