.The Facade.
Character Name: Thangureth (Birth Name: Falkner)
Name Meaning: True Heart
Age: 10
Date of Birth: Summertime 3000
Race: Man
Residence: With the Elves of Mirkwood
Profession: None Yet; Child
Appearance:
Falkner is a young, bright eyed and small child. He looks like a boy who was raised in the wild - as a result of mostly being raised this way. With the elves he dresses in a far more proper manner. He still keeps his shaggy brown hair though, which he is duly proud of.
Personality:
Falkner is a friendly, asstute, and kind young boy who is very curious about the world around him. He constantly looks to see the good in peoples’ hearts even if they often cannot be found. He is courageous in the cases of the latter, refusing to show fear and attempting strongly to be older and more powerful than he is. Although the seems to often overestimate himself and his abilities to protect or take care of himself.
As a human among the elves now, he finds himself a little shy. He is trying hard to adapt to a new way of living - and genuinely wants to prove himself as worthy to his new home and family. He knows very little of elf culture and customs, but is generally willing to learn. And has determined he will learn and find his place among this new people.
That said - he pines for the father he has lost. His memory lives on in him, but he often agonizes over his loss. He has had to adjust to life without the man who taught him everything he knows. And the adjustment has taken a burden on him - admittedly.

History:
Most of Falkner’s earliest years are murky to him. He remembers there was a time where he lived with his parents in a city he no longer remembers. When he was two, his mother fell ill, and died and his memory of her is clouded as a result. It was then that his father, a hunter by trade, decided to take him into the forest and raise him among the wilderness.
His father was a kind man who raised Falkner through love, respect, and firmness. Teaching him to be an archer and hunter was his life. Falkner himself looked up to his father greatly and saw him as a kind and honorable man. Though they were far from rich, they were rich with love and that was good enough for both of them.
As he grew older, he joined his father regularly on hunts and grew better with his archery. But in time, it became clear that there were dangers to living in the wilds. Soon, Ealder and Falkner found themselves delving further into the woodlands.
On one of these encounters, a large animal attempted to harm Falkner. Ealder, quick to defend his son, fought hard, but the struggle ended quickly with both him and the beast dead. Falkner sat at his fathers side for days, grieving before taking him to their “home” and burying him in earnest.
Since then, Falkner has been on his own. He has hunted, foraged, and survived well enough on his own. But dwindling supplies and resources continue to take their toll on the child. It’s clear that he does not have long if he continues to live on his own, but he is determined to survive by his fathers memory.
Unbeknownst to the young human, help is well on its way from a race of people he’s only heard stories of: the elves. And a new life for him awaits among them.
