Today was just like any other day.
Orodreth had woken up early today.. or was it late? The man did not know and could honestly care less. He was awake and he wasn’t going to sleep anytime soon. He tried to get out of his cot, slowly rising himself when BOOM! He hit his head somehow. What did he even hit it on? Was something close by? He tried to reach out to “see” but couldn’t feel anything out in front of him. Hmm.
Slowly he moved to sit at the edge, bending down now and feeling for his boots. Ah, there they were! He quickly put them on since he already had his attire on for the day and slowly rose completely off the cot.
So far so good.
Now, he needed to remember where the door was at. After awhile, he should of remembered, but some days he just could not for the life of him. So he took steps out and turned, heading towards where the door would be. Turning the knob, he opened the door and went out of the Inn to get a breath of fresh air.
Exactly where was he going? He had no clue. He could fall over the cliff and wouldn’t know until he didn’t feel ground under his feet. He just needed some air before he went to try and peel more onions or chop vegetables for the lady who cooked at the inn. What was her name again? Orodreth was terrible with names! He just huffed and pushed his hair out of his face. Even though he couldn’t see, it was annoying as ever to feel it on his face!
Now, he had to be somewhere close to the cliff because he could hear the waves crashing on rocks, the breeze blowing a little more forceful, and taste the saltiness of the water. So, ever so slowly, the man sat down and appeared to be “looking” out into the vastness of the sea.
