Appearance: Stand at 5’11, Rávien is rather short for an elf. She lacks the height of her taller kin. Wavy dark strawberry blonde hair falls just to her shoulder blades. She has a soft oval face with a pair of gentle dual-colored eyes. The Valar on her begetting day could not decide upon her eyes so they gave her on that was the deep silver of rain morning twilight and the deep blue of Ulmo’s ocean.



Personality: Rávien is a very quiet young woman, shy around people she does not know well but she comes to life once, one gets to know her. She can be quite vivacious, once she comes out of her shell and is comfortable around someone. Her manners are quite charming and while she is flirty it is never crass, lude or improper. She could be described as a pacifist. Always searching for a peaceful solution in a quarrel. She believes in saving face and swallowing one’s pride if they must. Though by no means does she always conform to a pacifistic view. She abhors Yrrchs and all manners of foul beasts and to them, she gives no kindness.

History:



When Glawardir and Laesilliadriel decided to have a child, it was with the understanding that Laesilliadriel would not remain in Middle-Earth past their child’s coming of age. Even as their child came into the world, her mother was planning to leave the lands that her kin had called had called home since before the time of the stars, and Rávien grew up with no memory of her mother. For her Avari mother sailed to the west, to finally greet the Valar.


Rávi is a highly educated young elf of Avari descent. She speaks Westron and Sindarin fluently, She is the student of Lady Galadriel’s and studies Quenya. While adept at the finer points of dance, singing, Rávi prefers to play the violin. She plays quite well enough for an audience and is often asked to play for entertainment after dinner at parties. Rávi is skilled enough for an elven woman of noble birth at needlepoint, she finds it tedious and boring. While as any elf, Rávien can use a bow well enough, she has not a warrior's soul. What she lacks in strength to be a brave warrior, she makes up for in her ability as a healer, Rávien would rather be hunting for herbs in the wood or sitting by the riverside, making medicines.


The young elf has never left Lothlorien but she does listen to the birds when they bring news of the world beyond the golden wood and when the Dunedain venture as elf friends to the golden wood does she practice speaking Westron with those that speak it, though often she has found the Dunedain prefer to converse in the elven tongue.
Which delights her to no end that they favor her native tongue and it's beautiful sound.
