History:
Ehedril was born in the South Downs of Eriador in the year 2965 to Fenion and Laheth, their second child. They were a nomadic family of rangers, protecting the lands south of Bree. Ehedril's early life was one of constant travel and living off the land. She learned how to hunt and fight from a young age, and her childhood was a happy one. She knew no other way of life, and she had nothing to compare it to.
They never stayed in one place for long, and they mostly traveled through the wilder regions of Eridaor. From time to time, they would pass through villages and towns to trade for supplies they could not find in the wilderness, and Edehril was always excited and overwhelmed by these visits. The city showed her so much more of what the world had to offer, and her everyday life seemed so dull by comparison. However, as her parents often had to remind her, that was not her place. She was meant to become a Ranger of the North and would have an important duty to fulfill.
As she grew into a young woman, Ehedril set aside her childish dreams and settled nicely into her proper role as a Ranger. She and her brother went off on their own, away from their parents, and in time her new life was fulfilling enough that she almost forgot about her old fantasies. Almost.
Once as the two of them passed through Bree, Ehedril found herself entranced by a troupe of performers: players, dancers, musicians...it was like nothing she had seen before, and she felt a sense of joy and wonder that she had not known since she was a young girl. Ehedril spent as much time as she could watching them, and when it came time for her and her brother to move on, she acted on a wild impulse and decided to stay behind. Her brother was furious, sure she was throwing her life away on something frivolous and foolish, but her mind was made up.
She started by helping the troupe in any way that she could: mending costumes, organizing props, or any other odd job. All the while she never forgot her roots and her old devotion to the Rangers of the North. Though she had settled into town life, Ehedril still committed herself to protecting anyone who needed it. The people of Bree might not face orcs or wolves, but there was still plenty of good to be done within the city.
Ehedril made her debut on stage by a stroke of luck: the leading lady was too ill to perform, and Ehedril happened to know her part. She was not only comfortable in front of an audience, but she felt truly alive From that moment on she became a well known entertainer in Bree, and she is still committed to protecting the city from within. She's had a few encounters with her brother, and their relationship is still strained.
