Appearance: Short, squat, round, grey hair. Waddles.

Personality: Cynburga is old enough to call most people in Edoras 'girl' or 'boy', no matter how grown they are, and takes the liberties to do so. She's well known to be a slight superstitious, and enjoys using her knowledge of various superstitions and remedies to be 'helpful' to any and all the townfolk. She's taken it upon herself to know everyone in Edoras by name, and she remembers what the most of them did and acted like even while they were still young and toddling about in their nappies.

She even recalls the birth and the sound of the horns singing when young Theoden King was given unto the world, and the feast of his presentation, where he cried with colic all the way through the ceremony. The woman she called her great grandmother bustled home to fetch a scrap of flannel and took it straight to King Thengel that it could be wrapped about the baby's midsection and stuffed with pounded grass to draw the colic straight out.



Parents: We are not entirely sure, though in the days of her “youth” as it may be said, she resided with two older ladies whom she referred to as her great grandmothers.
