He also wishes that I were gone, Adanedhel said quietly. He did not wish to interrupt his Naneth, for she was always so kind to him. He could not be rude. Only a few sniffles escaped as he heard her speak about the halls and what everyone was saying during that time.
" I know your Adar does not think you ready, yet you are strong, Iônneg.”
And if he does not agree, what then? You know he will protest if I try to do this.. Just like all the other things Adan has tried to do, Saeros will simply say no. Though, Adanedhel could do it. He knew he had to try. He had to find a way to be what his father wanted. A warrior is what his father was and a warrior Adanedhel would become just to finally see a smile of approval from his Adar.
“Your Adar fought many wars, from the time he reached only one hundred years. He would wish you to do the same as he… from your own will.”
I would have to will it inside of me.. Adanedhel sighed, looking back down at his messy tunic from falling on the ground.
"If you joined the host… offered your services and your blades to King Thranduil, Perhaps upon your return… that respect would be given from him.”
I shall try to do all that I can to be what he wishes..even if I do not. Adanedhel was a determined young elf. Perhaps this would work and perhaps his father would finally accept him and love him. Naneth, let me get cleaned up so I do not soil these sheets any further... And I shall come back to you.
Adanedhel got himself cleaned up and ready to go speak to whomever it may be to let him join this thing. Saeros had came back by then, still wearing a scowl on his face. "Where is he going?" He asked Amarië this question as his eyes looked to her. "I told you, you aren't going anywhere Adanedhel!"
