"You are my son, and I will miss you dearly, yet that is on my heart. Not yours. It is something only I can control. My own emotions. And you can control yours.”
Adanedhel flushed some, clearly embarrassed by letting his emotions run so freely. Forgive me, still.. I believe it was a bit of my pent up anger towards Adar. I should never have stooped so low. It is not like me.. Normally, no one but his Naneth could tell what was wrong with Adan. He never done such a thing before, even when he was a child. This was new and it left a bitter taste in his mouth.
The elk by then had came close, nuzzling and soon licking the younger elf. He flinched and closed his eyes for a moment, not really expecting the thing to do such to him. Finally though, Adan smiled and continued to pet the creature. Hello, Sirfal. Adan made sure to watch for the horns and to be mindful of his emotions that were needed to be reeled in.
Great. Adanedhel thought he heard someone following him,but wanted to get to his Naneth as quick as possible. He felt that now he could not speak as freely as he wished since Saeros was here, asking for them to come back inside. What happened next made his eyes widen. What was his Adar thinking?! He had never seen the older elf hold his Naneth such and even she was stiff and unsure. Perhaps I wish to stay out here.
“What danger am I in, with a skilled warrior in my midst?”
Of course, Saeros knew who she was speaking about and it made the jealousy run hot in his veins. He let go of her immediately and just eyed his son. "So you claim. We will see once he returns to us." "IF he returns." Saeros had thought. Soon she mentioned of how one would alert them of danger and the elk soon licked him. Saeros knew the thing was a bit dumb, but common sense told everyone that Saeros wasn't someone to touch. He let it slide... for now. "So you rather stay out here?"
Adanedhel knew this will soon be a problem. He sighed and went to his Naneth, kissing her cheek. I will go now and leave you both be. I will do you proud and fight with all I am. He looked to his Adar and held a cold stare. Farewell, Adar. Saeros nodded at him as a reply and weakly mumbled, "Farewell, Innoneg."
